Hey Guys, Hope you’ll are good. I know that I haven’t been blogging forever. I think I might not even have had a single post up in a year. I don’t know, but I really dint have the feel to blog, in fact I had drafted a couple of posts but I dint really upload any, I felt so uninspired. So much was going on personally. My daughter had to have a lot of time of mine and I was totally okay with it. Now that I feel super inspired for blogging, I might put my life into this hereafter. If you would want to see reviews of something in particular you might email me, I would be more than happy to review those. Also this particular post of mine was long, long super long due, but I am happy that I am able to get this review out at least before I finish up the product only! Now onto the review.
If you haven’t seen the whole of YouTube go gaga over these tiny shakers by Lancome then I am sure you should have been under the rock. From the first ever time I saw this on YouTube, this has been on my list. When I had to buy this we dint have a store that sells Lancome here in Chennai so I had to wait for someone to come from the U.S to pick this up. It happened finally and I picked one variant called Mangoes Wild because I am a huge sucker for mangoes. Initially I thought I should pick up a few more variants but I thought its sensible to pick only one because I wasn’t sure if this would show up on me. Even if I bought few more, what if the colour doesn’t show up and everything ends up looking the same. Good that I made the right decision because honestly the colour barely shows up but still I find myself liking it. Read to know why.

Like I said already I was a little too excited for this and when my Sephora package reached me, this was the first thing that I had to try on. I did follow the instructions correctly, as to shake it like a cocktail a couple of times so that the oil and the pigment mix well and take that cute sponge applicator and tap it on the lips. I was a little disappointed that the pigment is not potent enough to show up on me. But what came to my surprise, was to how moisturizing the oil was on my lips. It’s a feeling that I never experienced before.
I am girl who is always on lip balms and butters but honestly this felt like nothing I have tried before. No lip balm has felt this hydrating on me so ultimately the product isn’t a total dud. I am sure I am going to use this to moisturize my lips. But the brand says that you could also top this on you matte lipstick for extra shine on use it on top of a lip liner or just use it on top of a base onto the centre of the lips and cupids bow for the extra plumy look but I would never see myself doing that because I am not a ‘lip-gloss typa gal’.
Although If you would ask me if this is a must or not, then its absolutely personal preference. To me this was the kinds that “YouTube made my buy” but I don’t feel it’s a waste because I still have a way to use it but if your that person who wants to buy a lip oil just for hydration then come on, you don’t need to actually spend so much for making a oil cocktail, you could absolutely use oils at home to do that. But if you really want to go out and spend that money for that cute packaging then by all means go ahead and enjoy that expensive oil dude!
