The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish Review
The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish is a one of its kind product. I picked this up when Body Shop had its sale going on. It is a body wash with exfoliating particles in it, which is ideal to be used on a everyday basis.
What the brand says:
This exfoliating, foaming gel gently buffs away dead skin cells to leave skin soft and smooth. It has a sweet strawberry scent.
• Gently exfoliates
• Leaves skin feeling soft and smooth
• Sweet strawberry scent
Price: 650 for 200ml
My take on the product:
When I first opened it , the thing that stood out to me was that it looked and smelled exactly like strawberry jam. This stuff smells exactly like ripe strawberries, not overpowering or overly sweet but like the real fruit. The consistency is like a gel with exfoliating particles. I found the product to be quite nice, because you can actually feel smooth exfoliated skin after your shower which is not the case with most shower creams and gels that claim to exfoliate. The exfoliating particles are not very harsh, so that it could be used daily. Well I do not use this daily but I alternate this for every other day. And a thing to bear in mind is that this is definitely not a substitute to the regular body scrubs because this is way too mild to use as a weekly scrub but it’s like a little boost to your regular shower gels. A little bit goes a very long way because it lathers up so well. Great for travel because you need not have to carry a scrub and shower gel separately. The price is also pretty decent for the quantity you get. The only turn off can be the smell if you’re not a fan of strawberries. But Body Shop has another Satsuma variant which is citrusy. Also a lot of limited edition body polishes come and go frequently. Overall this is definitely a repurchase for me.
